Wanna Work Together Video

Even though this video was short, i actually learned quite a bit.  I knew that there was a copyright law, but i did not know about all the refining you could do to it.  I personally have never copyrighted anything i have made because i did not feel like it was something major, but i feel like i got a little information that was important about copyright incase i ever do have to copyright something.  There is so much that can be stolen in the technology world if it is not protected.  So many people who are coming up with ideas about advancing technology are having to protect anything they create for the simple fact that it could get stolen and used by someone else.  Technology to some people is a way of life and making their money.  They invent items pitch it to someone and bam, they have just expanded the technology world.  But they are always putting a copyright on it so no one else can steal their invention. 

Mr. Winkle Wakes

This video was cute...although it said that even after Mr. Winkle waking up 100 years later some things were still the same, i do not see what he saw that was the same.  Technology was not even heard of 100 years ago.  It was cool to see him look around and be so curious and stunned by what the world offers today with technology.  I think its great what it has become.  The one thing i feel could be a problem though is schools being able to fund all these different technologies.  Most schools have their mac books or laptops but it seems that something new comes out almost every couple months and i'm not sure if schools can afford it.  That would be my only reason why schools would not be using all this up to date stuff.  If we had all the money in the world though it would be great to give it to teachers to get cool things in their classroom for students to learn off of.  The imagination and the wonders that it will do for kids is amazing.  Students and children love technology and this world astonishes me everyday with whats it offers for teachers!

21st Century Teachers

As i watched this video i got a feel for all the teachers out there using technology.  One of the signs they used said i am a 21st Century teacher and learner.  Just as we are students, teachers are still learning as well.  They do not know everything about technology so when they learn something knew they feel like they are a student as well.  I think its great that our technology world is growing and the teachers are not acting as if they are know it all's.  Technology is everywhere and there is no escaping it. 
This video inspired me to get to know more about technology.  I want to teach my students all the things that seem impossible with technology.  I have to say that i am not a technology wizard so it is going to take more learning for me to know more but it will be so powerful to teach young children the great things they can do.  School will be more of a fun learning enviornment to me.
